Matt grew up on the family farm at Yadjin Road and had a natural love of working on the land from a young age. After completing his apprenticeship as a Qualified Chef, Matt returned to work full time in the family business in 1997. His passion for cooking is closely related to his love of producing full-flavoured fresh produce.
Matt completed studies for Production Horticulture and Quality Assurance Procedures in 2002. He also completed Freshcare On-Farm Food Safety accreditation in 2002.
